According to police, the duo was returning to Delhi from Manesar on Tuesday on Anuj's bike, when an unknown vehicle rammed them from behind at around 11pm, near the 32nd Milestone hotel.

They were discovered by passersby, who informed the police. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where both were declared brought dead. Anuj's father Nahar Singh reached Gurgaon after getting information by a colleague of his deceased son. He lodged a complaint at Civil Lines police station against the unknown driver.


"We have lodged an FIR against the unidentified driver under sections 279 (rash driving) and 304A (death by negligence) of IPC," said ASI Mahesh Kumar, the investigating officer.
